6:15ish: Ally opportunity! Provide a simple supper for the Safe Harbor support group. Soup and bread…chili and chips…lasagna and salad… your choice! This is a way to care for some of our vulnerable beloveds. Make a meal for 8 (ish) in advance and drop off at the church around 6:15 PM on the 24th. We’ll do the rest. Thank you!

Blue Christmas Service
Recent events have caused much fear this season. We seek community where we are safe and loved and yearn for a world of peace and justice, together. Did you lose someone this year? Are you LGBTQ+, have broken family ties, depressed, divorced, or in fear of situations that feel out of control? Or maybe just sad? Come, light a candle, pray, cry, and sing, in a quiet safe space.

Free will offering will help those with food insecurity. Take time away from busyness to enjoy this free inspiring Christmas concert featuring the talented HPC choir and band and led by Music Director Chris George. Come, hear and sing Christmas carols!

Don’t miss this joyful celebration! Bring your children, grandchildren, neighbors, friends - all of them welcome to put on a costume and join in. No rehearsal necessary. Come at 4:30 to get in costume. Christmas party follows downstairs, with Santa!

You will meet others from the church. We usually have three meetings on different days to make sure that everyone can make it. There is another class on Nov 15 at 1:30 PM. Please do your best to make at least two. I am available for private conversations, zoom or in person.
New Member Sunday will be Sunday, November 23, 10 PM. This is our THANKSGIVING SUNDAY!
These meetings will include information about our denomination, the United Church of Christ and its history and doctrines, Pastor Judy’s and Pastor Julie’s stories of arriving at HPC, explanation of how Congregational churches function, tour of church, stories from other members, stewardship theories (we have to pay the bills!), committees and their functions, and food!

Worcester Pride Festival!
HPC will take part in Worcester Pride, and you can join in! Walk with us or join us on the Common for a family-friendly festival that welcomes a variety of LGBTQ+ and ally artists, makers, crafters, food vendors, live performers and speakers! The event features a youth and family zone, as well as health services provided by AIDS Project Worcester and other community health partners.
