Film for adults (rated R) is Watermelon Woman, the story of a young lesbian hoping to make a film that uncovers the identity of an enigmatic actress from the Hollywood era where Black Women were forced into servitude roles exclusively. In the process she shows the Philadelphia she’s always known and loved, a city full of Black Lesbian life that was previously undocumented. Subtitles provided upon request.
