ICE Arrest Targets Former Asylum Seeker

A former asylum seeker with the LGBT Asylum Task Force and member of HPC was arrested by ICE at the Miami airport on August 11. She called Pastor Judy before ICE took her phone. She told ICE that she was legal (all of her legal work had been completed) and seeking asylum. The ICE agents told her that "gives her no right to be in the USA.”
